Harlem Renaissance

The Harlem Renaissance was a significant social and cultural movement which took place in the 1920's and 1930's. The result was the flourishing of art, music and literature that reflected the history and experience of African-Americans across the United States. These contributions continue to serve as an inspiration for today’s artists.
